The Tao of Ethics

This class covers the Professional Code of Ethics of
the National Certification Board for Therapeutic
Massage & Bodywork, as well as those of several
professional organizations, and includes the NCBTMB
guidelines and standards.
It meets the NCBTMB required 2 hour focus on
boundaries.

Surprisingly fun and thought provoking, this seemingly
dry subject is usually quite lively as we discuss
common ethical dilemmas faced by many therapists.
A short bodywork trade will be included to add content
to our discussions.

This class is approved for 6 CE credits with the
Louisiana Board of Massage Therapy, as well as the
National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage
& Bodywork.

Sept. 24, for an additional 6 CE credits; also approved
by LaBMT & NCBTMB

Exquisite Self Care: caring for yourself so that
                              you can care for others

This class was designed to help working massage
therapists recognize and manage stress, preventing
burn out in the profession, helping you to be more
effective in interactions with clients.

This experiential class will help you to self assess,
connect & integrate simple processes into your life.

Topics will include affirmations, journaling, yoga,
meditation, diet & exercise, as well as accountability
and creation of an "action plan".
A short bodywork trade will complete the day.


This class is approved for 6 CE credits with the
Louisiana Board of Massage Therapy, as well as the
National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage
& Bodywork.
You can pair this class with "The Tao of Ethics"
on Sept. 25, for an additional 6 CE credits; also

adapted this class for practicing LMTs, in order to
help to prevent burn out in the profession.
