| August 23 & 24:Basics of O-B: Focus on Spine & Pelvis An overview of the basic release techniques for the major joints in the body. Gentle movement and positions of comfort facilitate release of tension and enhance structural alignment and balance. In this class, we focus on spine & pelvis: balancing pelvis, low back, thoracics, and neck Please note: this class will be repeated on Dec. 20 & 21 September 27 & 28: Basics of O-B: Focus on Extremities An overview of the basic release techniques for the major joints in the body. Gentle movement and positions of comfort facilitate release of tension and enhance structural alignment and balance. In this class, we focus on the extremities: balancing hips, knees, ankles & feet, shoulders, elbows, wrists & hands. The 2 Basics workshops, at one time taught in 1 weekend, have been split to allow the student ample time to explore and to learn to apply the principles of Ortho-Bionomy. Taking either class will help you begin to create ease and comfort in your work; and together, they cover the basic techniques for the whole body. |
